Brian Collings when he was very ill before his days of Ellesmere Port Exhibited waterway pictures prepared some wonderful paintings for me when I was to leave Middle East, a large painting of Drifters in action in heavy seas (the Willing Boys & Welcome Home) plus Rheidol Railway train in its old Blue Livery for a time plus Old Diving Vessels I captained & Dived Professionally from in Middle East, The MV Sea Cat, MV Sea Otter, plus the Iranian vessel NAZ with the Iranian naming effort having made it's 'N' in reverse.
I'd love to see more of Brian's efforts also know what became of him, when Shepherd turned to Animal paintings Brian took over on Rail Transport but always was a absolutely superb vessel painter after being involved with them & reaching Llanelli outskirts after coming from England into Milford Haven, I still have his originals.
